Frankly, it's a marvel that Curry is still shooting just under 40 percent from the 3-point line even though it's clear his thumb is bothering him.

After Wednesday’s game, Curry was asked about his injury, which went viral after a photo of his thumb surfaced on social media, and he gave a hilarious answer. “State of your thumb right now,” a reporter asked Curry after Game 5. "There's a picture online (which) looks pretty swollen," the reporter responded.

After Curry’s jump shots, Rockets defenders made an effort to swipe at his compromised digit while he snapped his wrist. The Warriors’ television broadcast picked up the trend during Game 5, which led to accusations that the Rockets were attempting to injure Curry.
