November's full moon, known as the Beaver Moon, is the last supermoon of 2024. Here's when it peaks and why it's called the Beaver Moon.

The last supermoon of the year is set to occur tonight (Friday November 15). The Beaver Moon rises in the UK at around 3.30pm and will mark the end of a run of four consecutive supermoons. It will not be quite as bright as last month's Hunter's supermoon but should still provide an impressive spectacle for sky gazers.

Not only is it a supermoon, meaning our lunar satellite will be slightly brighter and closer, but it's the last supermoon we'll see for a long time.
