Diego Pavia helped lead Vanderbilt football to a win against LSU, 31-24. Pavia was the star of the game, leading the Commodores with both his arm and his legs. The catalyst for the win, Pavia bounced back from a relatively down performance against LSU. Pavia's performance helped notch Vanderbilt bowl eligibility for the second straight year.
Diego Pavia struck the Heisman pose after one of his three touchdowns in No. 17 Vanderbilt's 31-24 win over No. 10 LSU. It's a celebratory move reserved only for the most elite, or the most self-confident, players in college football. Pavia is both of those things. And he had his Heisman moment on Saturday.
Vanderbilt dominated the game on the ground, rushing for 239 yards to LSU’s 100. Commodores quarterback Diego Pavia led the team in rushing with 86 yards and two touchdowns on 17 carries, in addition to his 160 yards and another touchdown score through the air.
