Aug 31, 2020 · Agree with Long - DTS is designed for highway cruising and comfort whereas the CTS is built for handling and "sporty" performance over comfort. DTS seats are waaaay more comfortable than the CTS ones (for example). And then there's the FWD vs RWD/AWD debate which is irrelevant if you the car's properties don't work for you.

Feb 22, 2012 · I previously posted today about my 2006 DTS and the problem I am having with my ABS/TRACTION lights coming on and off repeadly. When the lights come on (always together) the DIC says service brake assist and traction control warning. It causes the most annoying dinging noise in the world it happens at random times and repeadtly.

Nov 15, 2023 · I own an '07 DTS and an '09 DTS Performance. The 07 DTS is cognac Frost in color, absolutely beautiful. I recently had the engine resealed and the front end rebuilt totally. I have been seeing some photos of the DTS conversion convertible and I'm thinking about doing the same to the 07 DTS.

Jun 18, 2011 · I've driven newer 2008+ DTS and I think the coil spring rates changed as the rear of the car felt more planted then my Lux II ever did (even had the rear shocks replaced under CPO and it was still bad). The real downside is that 2006+ DTS don't do so hot on MPGs, I get an avg of 19-20 MPGs and with my Lux II I got 21 to 22 MPGs.
