Good news is that the truck is running like brand new.The tech said that it had a ford transmission and that when they built the rangers and mazda trucks that they put the exhaust too close to the transmission and that it heats up and over time, melts the servo. He sees it all the time. Hope this info is helpful to you.

Truck will not fire with push start when this occurs. Replaced battery cable ends and starter to no avail. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated as truck is now sitting in the north woods of Minnesota 300 miles from home and 50 or so miles to any repair shops. Thanks.

I have a 1987 Mazda B2000 pickup with a bad engine. A rebuilt 1990 Mazda 2.2 engine was advertised locally out of a Ford Probe. How difficult or is it even possible to put the Probe engine in my Mazda pickup. They are both manual transmissions.
