I can say I own a 2000 Bravada which GM used hoses to relocate the oil filter from the original position located on the engine itself. I have found as many have these hoses leak oil, but mine don't leak enough to think about replacing them. The Bravada we have did loose enough oil in 68000 miles to saturate the pan located under the engine.

We have an 04 Bravada; started during warranty with a soft "clank" during first 40 seconds or so of driving; never found anything wrong; now, out of warrant, the clank (sounds like what in an older car would be the rear end clanging) is louder and has started it on deceleration.
