On 5th July this year, Palestine Action was proscribed after a vote in Parliament invoking the Terrorism Act 2000. Since then, police have made over 2700 arrests for peacefully protesting. These arrests are unlawful. Amnesty UK has intervened in the Judicial Review in the courts and over 130,000 Amnesty supporters have called on the UK government to stop the prosecution of peaceful protestors. | Amnesty International UK
