The Lisa was developed by Apple Computer and released in 1983, just a year before the iconic Macintosh. It was one of the first personal computers to sport a graphical user interface and was priced at a whopping $10,000 at launch. Although it only survived a couple years in market, the Lisa pioneered many design concepts we all still use to this day: the mouse, windows, icons, folders, the trash can, and more. Functioning Lisas are hard to come by today, but with the help of the Computer History
