. There are 2️⃣ sacs protecting your baby in utero. 1️⃣The outer sac is called the CHORION. 2️⃣The inner sac is called the AMNION. These 2️⃣ sacs provide a protective barrier for your baby during pregnancy and birth. Inside the amnion sac is the baby, umbilical cord and amniotic fluid.
