Baby Chandler had a splenectomy. His cancer spread to the spleen and the tumors where growing so big and fast it was going to rupture. A ruptured spleen is miserable was to go so we spared him from that. Dogs and humans can go on and live a normal life without their spleens. We just have to get through this recovery so we can try and new and better chemotherapy mix and confinue to battle the cancer. Unfortunately Chandler developed a plural effusion.
