Last week, Compton College and partner Sustainable Economic Enterprises of Los Angeles celebrated the one-year anniversary of hosting a weekly Certified Farmers’ Market on campus. It was a great event (even with the rain)! As an added bonus, all currently enrolled students are eligible for $20/weekly to spend at the farmers’ market. A football player at Compton College is breaking the mold and showing it's never too late to chase a dream! At 50 years old, Orson Villalobos is taking classes at Compton College, pursuing degrees in kinesiology and coaching, all while playing football. 😤🏈 | ABC7
