From start to finish, an affa fine night. Despite atrocious January weather, our community packed The Acorn for The Cabrach Burns Supper. Greeted by John on the bagpipes, amongst the wind and the rain, a warm welcome awaited all inside. Across the night, every contribution hit exactly the right note: Martin’s Address to the Haggis, the return of the McBain Band, Pete’s Toast to the Lassies with Sheila’s excellent reply, and the beautiful vocals of Arwen that held the room spellbound.
