This poor momma arrived to rescue from a puppy mill. Her puppies were born and are struggling. No real surprise, health has never been a priority for them...until now. We will do what we can to help them with nourishment, with love, with care. To help them live. To help them get a fighting chance at a good life. Your support helps us to help them. Sure, they are adorable dachshund puppies. They also are weak, they need to be tube fed, and foster momma (and momma dog) are exhausted. Together we c

Foster needed for momma Sue 8! This momma dog was dumped in a rural area in OK with several other dogs. A good samaritan stepped up to offer her a chance to deliver her puppies in the safety of their porch. She is reportedly a sweetheart and an excellent momma. You can see it to so clearly in this video and it warms our hearts. This family needs a committed and approved foster family to welcome them starting 1/31. Momma Sue has done her best, and many people are willing to help get her and her p

URGENT fosters needed! Shivering in the cold building...sadly this pound is actually a big step up from outside and in the elements :( These precious lives are counting on us to be able to help. We expect hundreds more needing help on Friday and Saturday. We can only help the dogs and puppies we have foster placements for. PLEASE help us to help as many as we can....we are still over 90 fosters away from our goal going into our Out of the Cold rescue effort. You can find our foster process on ou

Foster found! Needs temp! URGENT Fosters and Support NEEDED! This is just horrible. There are more mommas at the rural pound, with puppies. Scared and vulnerable. They are so little. I do not think their eyes are even open yet...they have no good option in this environment. Can you help? This is all hands on deck. Fosters-needed Transport- found Donations- needed Mom 7 newborn pups...vulnerable to cold and illness. This could be a life-threatening scenario for these little kiddos. Sadly, concret

Urgent foster found! If we are going to pull off helping this family we need a foster family to commit right away. We have posted a couple of times and no interest so far. They have a ride to us on Saturday if we can find a committed and approved foster family in time. They need an option, and we are happy to help, but a foster is the only way to make it possible. Please send positive thoughts that we can find a foster family in time! Momma looks like such a sweetheart. She was previously dumped

Urgent Foster Needed! These five squishy puppies ended up in a rural shelter and are needing rescue ASAP. We have transport secured but need a committed foster family willing to welcome them when they get to Coco's Heart. A fun perk? Their foster family can name them! Please e-mail your foster mentor and foster coordinator if you are an approved foster family or head over to our CHDR website to submit your foster application today 🤞 | Coco's Heart Dog Rescue

Foster Needed! One of our partners in North Dakota reached out late last night, begging for help with this girl. She is so underweight and malnourished...they didn't think she'd be able to wait until OOTC in a few weeks and we agree 🙁 Her eyes are saying, "please help me" 💔 We are not sure on age yet, but are guessing maybe 25-35 pounds? Date and time are not finalized yet (hoping for a foster to say yes to her first!), but if you could offer her a warm and loving foster home with lots of snac

Foster needed! She was kissing us through the pound kennel. Her desperate attempts at affection. She was filthy and just pleading for love. She appears to have had a deformed or broken jaw previously that needs to be assessed. An amazing transporter can help bring her, and many others, to us but we need fosters willing to help. Your support helps to make our rescue efforts possible. We are truly sick thinking about the precious lives waiting where we left them....all hoping we can pull it off...

Urgent case...foster needed to help 😢 (Foster found for this family, amazing! Sadly, dozens more of these mommas pups will likely need help from our Out of the Cold rescue effort. Please, please, please sign up to foster to help if you can commit!) This momma and her 9 babies are desperate for help. They are on a cold concrete pound floor. No heat. Not the warmth and love they desperate deserve. We have transport willing to get her to us from rural ND. We just need a foster family....its a tall

What a special day! The Green Bay Packers Foundation is INCREDIBLE. We were one of the many organizations across Wisconsin selected to receive a grant to help support our work in the community. We were also invited to speak at the luncheon at Lambeau. What an experience! The level of generosity and support they help to provide in meaningful ways is so impactful ❤️ Go Pack Go! Orphaned and in Need of Love URGENTLY... Seven tiny puppies, alone and without their mother were just found in rural North Dakota. They haven't been able to locate mom yet but the local animal control is still looking and hoping, but these little ones urgently need our help. Thankfully, they’re just old enough to start eating on their own and no longer require bottle feeding. Our rescue partners have them safe for now, but they need a foster home ASAP! Fostering a litter can be one of the most r

Chloe sits alone, throwing herself her ball… 💔 Found abandoned in a rough situation, taken in by one of our rescue partners in south TX- Chloe waits.… day after day… week after week hoping for someone to truly SEE her. Unfortunately, she was born a pittie , the most misunderstood and euthanized breed. She contuines to be passed by, she watches & hopes tomorrow will be the day she’ll be given a chance. Chloe is a total ham, she’s friendly & goofy. She craves love and pets. Day after day, she tos

**Dear Supporters, please read, we need your help- it’s been a really, really hard week.** We are currently living every rescuers nightmare, so easily preventable with vaccines, yet often times a death sentence for unvaccinated and young…. Distemper. 😭 This video is hard to watch but shows the crushing reality of what we are battling. 💔 It’s been awhile since we’ve had an outbreak, it comes with a level of heartbreak we were not prepared to deal with - unfathomable. We cannot begin to imagine

As we attempt to wash away the filth and slowly gain their trust, we have been able to start some diagnostics and veterinary care. We feel like we’re staring at the tip of an iceberg, we know there’s obvious issues but also there is so much more left to uncover and figure out. Numerous of the Great Pyrenees mix that arrived last weekend were diagnosed with oscillating nystagmus, (involuntary, rhythmic, and often rapid back-and-forth eye movements). All of them are dangerously thin, literal skin
