We were extremely fortunate to witness a Dimi Ceremony on our recent visit to the Omo Valley. This ceremony is very sacred to the Dassanach people, and rarely seen by outsiders. The rituals are performed every morning for several weeks, and involve special outfits (leopard skins for men, monkey skins for women), songs, and dances, and blessings.
